The Johns Hopkins Children’s
Center in Baltimore, Maryland, celebrated the opening of its newly remodeled Adolescent
Medical and Surgical Unit Lobby with a special ceremony in July. The reception area,
made possible by a donation from Subaru of America, Inc. includes new furniture
and a series of artists’ murals. Attendees at the ceremony included, from left
to right, Children’s Center patient David Montgomery; Child Life Specialist
Tammy Patterson; George Dover, M.D., Director, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center;
and Rick Blanken, Regional Vice President, Subaru of America, Inc.
