Two national and eight regional science teaching award winners were announced last
spring. These high-school and middle-school science teachers entered the competition
by sending a 450-word description of an experiment, demonstration or learning experience
that served as an example of their approaches to teaching science and to spark interest
in the subject. The 10 winners are given cash awards.
Every science teacher who submits an entry receives recognition via a personal letter
of commendation from Subaru of America. The names of all the entrants are also placed
on the year’s Honor Roll list, which can be found at www.science.Subaru.com along with a list of the winning
teachers, the award-winning ideas and projects and more.
