 During the first weekend in September, Subaru celebrated the inaugural World Rally Championship (WRC) event in Japan with first-place and seventh-place finishes. Driver Petter Solberg and co-driver Phil Mills led the event from start to finish, winning by a margin of one minute and 13.3 seconds. It was the 42nd WRC win for Subaru and Solberg’s third win of the 2004 WRC season (eighth of his career).  |
