 In a comparison test of seven all-wheel-drive sports sedans, the Subaru Legacy GT spec.B was applauded by the editors of Road & Track (March 2006). In the test’s final results, the spec.B ranked second – only 1.3 points out of first on a 400-point scale. The spec.B led the performance results and placed second in the subjective ratings. When consideration of price was added to the evaluation, the Subaru ranked first. Using adjectives such as “terrific” and “exceptional” in their reactions to the spec.B, the editors concluded that owning one would be “thrilling.”  |
