Subaru was honored by the Camden County Chapter of the American Red Cross at its annual Good Neighbor Awards Dinner in May. Subaru was the only corporate honoree and was recognized for its commitment to community service and its extraordinary contribution to the families affected by the events of September 11. In fact, Subaru is the only corporate honoree in the 14-year history of the Camden County Good Neighbor Awards. Subaru and Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd. contributed approximately $1 million in cash and equipment to the American Red Cross and other relief agencies.
