WRC: Congratulations to Subaru World Rally team driver Petter
Solberg, who won his first FIA World Rally Championship along with co-driver Phil
Mills. The second Subaru WRC team's driver Tommi Makinen retired at the end of the
season eighth in the driver points standings along with co-driver Kaj Lindstrom.
Subaru ended up third in the manufacturer standings behind Citroën and Peugeot.
SCCA ProRally: Ramana Lagemann and Michael Orr of Subaru Rally Team USA finished
third in the 2003 SCCA ProRally points standings. Mark Lovell and Roger Freeman
had earned enough points before their tragic accident in July to place sixth. Pasi
Hagstrom and Marko Taskinen placed eighth in points.
